Rosette Detector

This package includes the rosette detector, used in paper Shroom3 is required downstream of FGF signaling for proneuromasts assembly in the zebrafish lateral line primordium.

The package is developed in Matlab R2010a and tested on Ubuntu 10.04 X86_64.
It may require some tiny modifications for a different environment.
The package is build on some other free software:

Please install the VLfeat toolbox before using the demo!
Run demo.m in Matlab
The program uses the detector model trained on our data. (Input images should have a pixel size equal to 0.26 micrometer in real world.)
For generalizing to new data with very different treatment, imaging condition or even different interested objects, it needs a retraining on the new (labelled) data.
